Nyaho Tamakloe hints at possible court action by Hearts of Oak

first_imgBoard member of Accra Hearts of Oak Dr.Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has hinted the club will head to court to contest the verdict of the appeal’s committee of the Ghana Football Association. The committee overturned the ruling of the disciplinary thus restoring Kotoko’s six points which sees the Porcupines move to second on the league log.The ruling means the Phobians lose the three points they gained from the board room and subsequently move to 13th position on the league log with 40 points.Speaking on Asempa F.M’s Ultimate Sports Show, Nyaho-Tamakloe hinted the ruling is unacceptable and Hearts will pursue this case to the letter.”I don’t want to talk much, except to say we have taken notice of the [Appeals Commitee] decision. But we must all know that the FA is ruled by laws, and this is not the end of this matter. If we think we must go further to prove our case, we will.”When pushed further by show host Benedict Mensah, Dr. Tamakloe hinted strongly that the Phobians will seriously explore the court option, despite the well-known stance of FA regulations that prohibits football matters to be taken outside the body’s laid-down review processes. “Don’t forget I have taken a football issue to a civil court before, and won. So let’s not say we can’t go to court. If it becomes necessary, we will go to a civil court.”last_img read more

But now that we’re without him, we’ve got to step up and I’m ready to take on that role,” he said as he and the rest of the Gin Kings seek to build on this victory moving forward.“It’s only our first game and the goal for us is to win the championship. It’s good to get that first win, but we still got a lot of room to improve.”Ginebra will face GlobalPort next on January 7.ADVERTISEMENT OSG plea to revoke ABS-CBN franchise ’a duplicitous move’ – Lacson Photo by Tristan Tamayo/ INQUIRER.netBOCAUE — Counted on to be the main man for Ginebra this 2018 PBA Philippine Cup, Greg Slaughter is well aware of the larger load he has to carry for the Gin Kings this season.“I understand that I have a big responsibility now.
